Terpenes – chiefly sesquiterpenes, plus some monoterpenes, a-Cadinol (~17%), epi-a-cadinol, t-cadinol (sesquiterpene alcohols); d-cadinene, g-cadinene (sesquiterpene hydrocarbons); cis-calamenene; a-pinene (~8%).

Safe via inhalation in typical amounts. In rare cases, prolonged exposure to concentrated oil could cause mild irritation (contains terpene hydrocarbons).
