When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

LiteSpeed Cache: This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. We may use QUIC.cloud services to process & cache your data temporarily.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.

  • Payments: We accept payments through secure third-party gateways (such as Stripe or PayPal). When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to them, including information required to process or support the payment. We do not store your raw credit card data.
  • Sustainability: We share basic order triggering data with Tree-Nation to fulfill our “1 Purchase = 1 Tree” commitment.
  • Administration: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

5. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. 6. Who On Our Team Has Access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access order information (what was purchased, when it was purchased, and where it should be sent) and customer information (your name, email address, and billing and shipping information) to help fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you.

7. What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
